What You Can Expect from VoicesDivine.com
Well, since you asked…Yes, this site is still under construction. Now that there is heightened interest – and it also seems likely that it will soon be “finished” – I thought I might start blogging about the progress.
We have two basic goals with this site:
- Offer free recordings of Baha’i news, writings, prayers, and community messages.
- Produce and sell quality Audio book recordings of full length Baha’i books and books that will appeal to Baha’i minded people.
Right now the priority is to meet goal number one. We want the free recordings to be available through several channels so they can be as widely accessed as possible.
- Free recordings will be playable directly on the website
- They will be available to download as MP3 files
- Each category of recordings will have its own RSS/Podcast feed
- Podcasts will be available for iPhone and iPod and other devices on Apple iTunes
As it stands, we are roughly at point 3. All of our current content is playable on the website and can be downloaded.

We are currently in the process of moving everything from the first generation of the site to here, the 2nd generation design. At the same time we will be adding new news articles from The Baha’i World News Service as well as prayers, writings, and messages from the Baha’i institutions in Haifa.
It also will not be long before our first books go on sale. Leanne Eleff has just finished recording and editing her reading of “Advent of Divine Justice” by Shoghi Effendi. I enjoyed listening to the talk originally given by ‘Abdu’l-Baha, but couldn’t find any prayers to listen to. Is that coming or has there been a change of plan? Thank you for this service.
