Baha’i Art Does Not Exist
A new website has been born to promote artists with Baha’i roots. It’s called Art and the Baha’i Faith and it has an enticing array of artists who have been inspired by the ideals of the teachings of Baha’u'llah. As they say on the front page of the site:
The Baha’i writings direct that there is no Baha’i art because the term seems exclusive. “Baha’i art” would assume that people of the faith are all interested in a certain type of expression but the writings encourage Baha’is to create sounds and images that inspire their local communities and to be flexible in appealing to the world audience.
So if you are in need of a little Baha’i inspired beauty head on over to this wonderful site and get a dose of some of the amazing work Baha’i inspired artists have to offer. Here is one of our favorites, Andrea Hope reciting World Citizen:
